NEW ENGLAND HISTORIC GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP
The Boyden Library is now a member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society and with that membership comes access to a wealth of genealogical information. Those interested in family history can now search up to 2,000 NEHGS databases, which contain about 90,000,000 names and other information. Searching can be done by logging on to www.NewEngland Ancestors.org. Since home access is not available for this service, research must be done on an internet station at the Boyden Library.
Also, genealogical researchers can obtain a day pass to research at the NEHGS headquarters in Boston. The pass can be reserved for a specific date by visiting or calling the Boyden Library at 508-543-1245.
A complete list of databases can be found at www. NewEngland Ancestors.org/research/database when you visit the library. Membership to the New England Historic Genealogical Society is provided by the Pace Genealogical Fund
